Is anyone with not so perfect teeth anxious socially or shy about smilling and displaying their teeth?

it is not all abt having good teeth or bad teeth .. its all abt confidence.. and being happy for what we got.. isnt it?

Yes it%26#039;s very embarrassing.I never show my teeth because of discoloration.
Reply:Yeah I am. My bottom teeth are crooked so I tend to mumble because I am concious of them, even though they arent really bad.


My top teeth were capped because of an accident and they looked pretty good so I would smile all the time. Now that I need to change them and cant because they are a bit pricey I am again concious of them.


So many people I know have these great teeth!


I really wish I could have had braces as a teen. Now as an adult I would get them if I could afford them.


I know we should smile regardless, I tend to do it with my mouth closed though... :)

Reply:I used to be embarrassed about my teeth, especially my bottom teeth. I got braces at age 49 and now, after 20 months of treatment, I have straight teeth.
