I had perfect teeth when I took off my braces but I didn't wear the retainer. Can my teeth be straight again?

My teeth were completely straight and my dentist told me wear my retainer non stop for three months. Of course, I didn%26#039;t and know I hate how my teeth are! I want to have my teeth straight again! What should I do?

Wear the retainers now. Then see your Ortho. Maybe they can do an adjustment to them or make a new one. If not to make them straight again maybe to keep them from shifting more. Or a permanent retainer that goes in the back. Best to talk to your doc for options right for your teeth. Good luck!
Reply:Have the braces put back on or do the invisalign system. I made the same mistake and am going back to braces at the age of 29.
Reply:Wow, why didn%26#039;t you wear the retainers? If you don%26#039;t want to go through the whole braces thing again then try Invisalign.

Reply:You will have to either wear braces again or the Invisilign. Why didn%26#039;t you listen and wear the retainer? That is pretty sad because all that money and time is down the drain. My husband had braces and his retainer broke and his parents couldn%26#039;t afford another and now as an adult he has crooked teeth. He was so mad. It is so frustrating to go thru all of that and have them go back to crooked. Maybe this next time around if you can have it done again you will follow doctors orders. They don%26#039;t say that as an option dork!!
Reply:try to consult your dentist again, because you can%26#039;t make your teeth straight again, after taking off your braces the teeth are adjusting everyday... retainers are amust...

but i think if urs still fits u should try it , although im pretty sure its gonna hurt .but other than that , yeah u might have to get braces again
